I'm a learning experience designer specializing in technical training and AI upskilling curriculum for corporate clients. My work sits at the intersection of instructional design, visual design, and emerging technology.
What sets my work apart is the combination of instructional design rigor and strong visual design skills. I have a background in graphic design, video, and multimedia that lets me create learning experiences that are not only effective, but visually striking.
I work within ADDIE and learner-centered design frameworks, and I'm increasingly integrating AI tools into my design practice.

Why Athena Learning Designs?
As the Greek goddess of wisdom and knowledge, Athena was a perfect name to use for my freelance instructional design business. It also happened to be the name of my cat. Though she passed away in 2025, her memory lives on, assisting my work by snoozing on my lap, and contributing to Zoom meetings by meowing at my clients and team members.
